: (1) In order to minimize the impact of noise, air, water and visual pollution on public health, the Government of Nepal may determine the relevant standards in accordance with the federal law.
(2) It shall be the duty of the provincial and local levels, ordinary citizens, industrialists, businessmen, and associations to comply with the standards according to sub-section (1).
(3) In order to minimize the impact of sound, air, water and visual pollution on public health, the Government of Nepal shall determine the standards related to sound, air, water and visual pollution in accordance with the federal law.
